FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Please see below for frequently asked questions. This is updated periodically as the Board continues to receive questions from the Community.

1) WHEN ARE HOA ASSESSMENTS DUE EACH YEAR?

HOA Assessment are due February 1st of every year. They are considered delinquent as of March 1st of every year. After March 1st, a late fee will be added to the account until paid and every delinquent member will receive three notices before the delinquent account is sent to an attorney for collection at which point the member will be responsible for the HOA Assessment, late fees, and attorney fees.

2) HOW DO I PAY MY HOA ASSESSMENTS?

You can pay by check, money order, or cashiers check.

You can also pay online at cityandvillage.com (a $10.00 fee does apply to pay on the website).

3) HOW DO I SUBMIT FOR APPROVALS TO THE BOARD?

You can submit for approval using the Architectural Request Form (ARC) found on the Community Documents Page. This must be completed and submitted to falconscresthoa@gmail.com.

Please allow 5-7 days for approval however they usually take 24-72 hours.

4) HOW DO I SUBMIT A COMPLAINT OR CONTACT THE BOARD?

You can submit a complaint or contact the Board several different ways. You can submit through the contact form on the "Contact" page, contact your Board members directly via the contact information located on the "Your HOA Board" page, or through email at falconscresthoa@gmail.com.

Please remember, any complaint or concern submitted to the Board is kept anonymous to all involved. By law, the Board cannot share any personal information about the member who submitted the complaint or concern. The Board can only address the issue if it is in violation of the Deed of Dedication, Restrictions, and Covenants.

5) DO I NEED A DECK SURROUNDING MY ABOVE GROUND POOL?

We have passed a policy stating you no longer need a deck in order to install an above ground pool. However, you must submit for approval through the City of Wright City and the Board of Directors. We suggest you submit and obtain approval from the City first as the Board will want to see that approval. 6) CAN I INSTALL A SHED IN MY BACKYARD?

Yes, you can. Any building not having more than 144 square feet of floor space, built according to plans and specifications submitted and approved by the Board of Trustees. Any utility building measuring more than 120 square feet requires a building permit from the City of Wright City in addition to approval from the Board of Trustees.

7) WHAT ARE THE FENCING REQUIREMENTS?

New wood, vinyl, or wrought iron/aluminum and not to exceed 72 inches in height. No fence shall extend beyond the rear corner of home or garage and must be maintained in a sightly manner.

8) WHAT ARE THE TRASH CAN ENCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS?

Enclosures must be constructed of new wood or vinyl material and be large enough that it encloses all trash cans being stored so that they cannot be seen. It must have 2 sides at minimum and be tall enough that trash cans cannot be seen from the street.  Must be kept neat and in a sightly manner.

9) DOES THE HOA HANDLE ATV COMPLAINTS?

No, this is not a HOA issue as this is a Wright City Law. Any ATV complaints must be directed to the CODE ENFORCEMENT/NON-EMERGENCY at 1-800-237-9020 or the POLICE 636-745-3541.

10) HOW OFTEN IS THE COMMON GROUND CUT?

The common ground is cut roughly every 5-6 weeks from March-November depending on the weather and need each year.

11) WHAT IS THE WARRANTY ON THE HOMES IN OUR SUBDIVISION?

Our homes come with a 1-year builder warranty and a 10-year structural warranty. If something is broken or you need to contact a specific company, a list of the contractors used can be found under the Community Documents tab.

12) HOW DO I CONTEST A VIOLATION?

In order to contest a violation, you must follow the process provided in the violation letter sent to you. In accordance with the First Amendment, you may contest the first official notice within 15 days through the community website or through falconscresthoa@gmail.com

Please do not send these requests to City and Village. They are not a full-service management company and do not handle any violations or community issues. City and Village solely handles financial, assessment, and tax matters on behalf of the association.

13) CAN I STORE TRAILERS, BOATS, CAMPERS, ETC. IN THE COMMUNITY?

No, boats, trailers, campers, pop-ups, etc. of any kind are prohibited on any street or lot within the Falcons Crest community. 

If you need to bring any of these listed items into the community, please notify the Board so that the Board and the homeowner can discuss the need and a reasonable timeframe for it being within the community. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis the Board realizes there is a need for this type of equipment from time to time.

14) CAN I PARK A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE AT MY HOME?

Yes, you can park commercial vehicle at your home. However, only standard size trucks and vans with a ladder will be permitted and must be parked in the driveway, not blocking the sidewalk where applicable. Parking on the street is prohibited. No semi-trucks, 18 wheelers, rollback trucks, box trucks, or any oversized commercial vehicles will be permitted.
